Cleaning canvas

Hello all!
I have an Starcraft expandable. My question is what do I use to clean the canvas on the bunk ends? I have read that bleach should not be used, so what is everyone using? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

inside or outside? your Starcraft manual should have care and maintenence instructions for the canvas.
you might have Sunbrella material. if you do, go to their website.

a diluted bleach mixture is fine for dealing with mold/mildew on the inside.

On most hybrids the outer top areas of the bunk ends are Sunbrella with vinyl on top. Since we camp 99.9% in shady sites with tree sap and stuff, I'll clean it with some Simply Green and a soft brush. After camping, I'll wipe the bunk ends off including the sides before folding them up. To reach all the bunk ends, I have a folding 2 step ladder and a telescoping pole I drape a old bath towel over the bristle brush end.

I bought some pop up gizmos for A: the insulation advangages but also B: to keep my bunk ends cleaner and less exposed. The gizmos are alot cheaper to replace and should keep the ends much cleaner in the long run.

But to answer your question....you can't go wrong with some mild dish soap, water, very soft brush/sponge, rinse and repeat.
