folding up pop out mattress

does anyone have trouble getting their front pop out mattress to stand up when being closed? mine leans toward the sitting area sometimes when I camp,i don't need to use the pop out but then the mattress is leaning in on u..thanks for help

it would help if you provided more info and if you're talking about a hybrid.
like year/make/model of hybrid, since different brands/models use different ways of securing the mattresses.
like Roo/Shamrock hybrids use a strap/snap system to secure the mattress to the bunk end door when closed up.

Our old 05' hybrid the mattress when the bunk was closed stayed put with two long bungy cords that "criss - crossed" over the mattress to keep it upright when the bunk door was closed.

Our newer hybrid (2013) the mattress has to be taken out and laid across the dinette table because the bunk door will not close if they are left in.

Do you have factory bungy cords.
