Hello and cleaning question
Howdy, new to the forum. Proud owner of a 2000 Aerolite Cub travel trailer.
Question: How do I get the dark spots from the white rubber seals around the windows and trim? I have tried products with bleach and no luck.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. You might try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

It sounds like your talking about the vinyl inserts around windows, doors and trim. This vinyl is easy to replace and can be purchased at many RV suppliers. Just be sure not to strech it to tight when reinstalling. Hope this helps you.

Try Westly's (Spelling?) White Wall Cleaner. It works for me but requires some elbow grease. I use it with a cut down scrubbing pad. Wash off quickly with clean warm water then put a protectant on to slow the black from returning.
Good Luck and have some cold ones for a reward. lol

I have a 05' Cub with the same white colored rubber like material around the windows. Mine tend to darken up or have a ting of yellowing. I use a product called Gel-Gloss on the fiberglass sides of the trailer and that window rubber. I find them hard to keep clean....But the Gel Gloss is great for keeping the sides of your trailer looking new. Last weekend we were camping next to a owner of a 98' Aerolite. It's over all fiberglass looked streaky and yellowish. We tried a little Gel Gloss on it cleaned and it right up. It is a cleaner and wax. Can be found at RV stores and boat dealers.

Wow! Thanks for all the tips. Tried the magic eraser and it did wonders on the firberglass and some of the rubber around the windows but for the rubber seals around the pop-out doors it did not work. I tried colgate toothpaste as well and no luck. I will try the gel gloss product and see what happens...thanks again for the warm welcomes and tips!
Great web-site!

Yes, the Gel-Gloss will get some of the darkened areas of the white rubber cleaner. But having owned my 05' Aerolite since new, I found the white rubber around the windows started getting dirty looking a few years (2) after we purchased the trailer. Using the Gel-Gloss greatly cleaned that area up, but not to a pure white color as they were if new. Seems the rubber adsorbs the elements......

The black/dark spots are mold. I always add a few oz of bleach to the (car wash soap) soapy water when I wash the RV to eliminate them and keep them from forming between times. This also cleans awnings quite well. If black spots are really bad, a spray bottle of laundry bleach is at my side. If that doesn't work, this material is cheap, and easy to install. You must know the correct width to purchase though.
