X2 on Heartland Edge. Had a M21 that was 3,400 lbs without cargo that easily pulled with a SUV rated for 5,000 lbs towing. It had one slide out that made it a lot more roomy inside with the slide deployed. Heartland stopped making the Edge they are only available on the used market.

Only con I will warn you about is that a lot of the weight savings in ultra light weight TT is in the frame the TT is built on top of being built light weight. My Edge M21 started to develop frame rail cracking that required repairs after several years of use including a round trip to Alaska and back.

Livin Lite Camplite

The Camplite might fit the bill for you. I don't know where in TX you are, but RV Guys in Valley View, near the OK border, carry them.

If you have years of over the toad trucking experience then you know the Nissan is not up to the challenge. You must have something else to tow that 40' trailer.
Need to buy a new truck especially if you want to use your other trailers.

Livin Lite Camplites. They have a 21 footer that may be what you like. They do cost a little more. The weight savings are there because they are all aluminum.

We own the 16TBS and love the little thing.

Have you checked out the Rockwood Geo Pro line of lightweight trailers. I watched a YouTube video on a couple floorplans and they look really nice and well thought out. I think the 19FBS has a UVW of just over 3K# and also has a slide. Check them out:
