Lightweight Trailer Floors

Looking for a light weight trailer built with plywood floors , fiberglass exterior and aluminum structure...
The foam floors in our last 2 light weight trailers were very weak and eventually failed ..
Looking at an 2013 open range light but have not researched the construction, any info appreciated..
Looking at GVWR 0f under 8000 pounds..
Thanks

Were on our 2nd RV tt with the wood/foam/wood sandwich floors. Same brand, same type of tt (hybrid) the 2nd one (2013) defiantly has a more solid feeling floor. Fact I don't recall any floor give. Now the 05' had a euro frame and had a little give. The 13' has "I" beam construction. Cost more, is heavier and sits about 6" higher than the euro type frames. Seems the cheaper RV's have less bracing to save weight and cost...

Nash. Check for used ones, however they sell quickly. They are built like an Arctic Fox, but use lighter weight materials. Not the lightest around, but hell for strong.

While returning from Alaska this past Sept we stopped to look at Arctic Fox tt's in MT. spent two hours looking over two different floorplans (25w & 28f), also one Nash. The AF's were $$$ The AF's were heavy. The AF's are built strong. Two things I didn't like about the Nash line was: very upright front rack on the front cap. And the slides are very small.

About 2 weeks ago I saw a used 2016 Arctic Fox (25W) on Ebay listed for $23,500. New ones in that model go $39k to $47k. The auction had just finished without a bid. I contacted the person who said it was sold. The problem was the 25w is about 7400lbs. with options and the unit was located 1500 miles away. My Tundra is only rated at 9900 lbs....

What is the weight of your 22H?

The 22H and G are about 4900 gross dry,but can be loaded to 7500. We are about 6500 ready to roll. They're heavy, but we bought ours for quality of materials and the 8.5 width so we didn't need a slide. The 25 series can go up close to 10,000 all tricked out, as they are under 7000 dry. I'm not sure a 1/2 ton would be a good choice in that series (even a Tundra!).

Lots of choices, and I'm not sure we won't change, but it would be a Northwood product. The Creekside (Outdoors RV) is now a Northwood division, and offers another so-called lightweight.

Did Northwood buy Outdoor RV or just the one product line (Creek Side)

I think Northwood owns Outdoors RV, but runs it as a completely separate company.
