Looking at a 2012 KZ Coyote 22CTS

Hello folks, first post. I've been looking for a 3 bed hybrid for about a year now, I'd like the slide as well. I've looked at a lot of these. A dealer has a 2012 KZ Coyote 22CTS, but its a decent drive away. Anyone have one of these? Issues, likes or dislikes? I understand that KZ stopped making the Coyote in 2013 perhaps? Any input on this model would be appreciated, also any general recommendations on three bed hybrids, likes and dislikes!? Thanks folks!

Two things come to mind. Thru my travels, I have seen a number of Coyote's have delam issues. Even ones less than 5 years old....

Second, the Payload Capacity is a tiny 940lbs. for that model. That is in my opinion way too small for a unit that can sleep 6 -8 people and the "stuff" you pack and store. My 26" hybrid has a 2500 lb. Payload Capacity. Even with 3 in our RVing family I'm at least 1000 - 1200 when loaded for a trip. I don't carry any water in my fresh tank. For our trip to Alaska this summer I will carry at least a half a tank of fresh water with over-nights spent between boon-docking, state parks (no facilities and private campgrounds.

You are totally correct on both issues! Went and looked at it on Saturday, the roof did seem separated. No stains, but there was an "air gap" up there, basically everywhere. It seemed consistent so I thought maybe it was supposed to be that way, but no...

Second point really sealed why I didn't buy it. No room inside for storage, lots of small cubbies but nothing really for a few duffle bags even. It seemed they had mechanicals in every space where you'd normally want to stuff a bag! I'm going to keep on looking, thanks a lot for your accurate reply!!
