Does anyone have a Nomad Model# 3375 with two slide outs? I have broken two springs on the slide out side. One broke last fall and one a few years back. I weighed each side individually and the right side weighs 4550 lbs while the slide out side weighs 5,800lbs. Which amounts to 800 lbs over the springs rating. And has anyone done any complaining to the factory with any kind of results.

Welcome to the forum.
You did not note the year build of your trailer, so I have to assume that it is not new and long out or warranty. Since you have already weighed it and know what the problem is (imbalance) the only real solution I can think of is new axles and springs and then install tires that will handle the load safely. Good luck getting a factory to acknowledge that they screwed up in the trailers design. That is what happened after all. A properly designed RV will be pretty well balanced and designers spend a lot of time to ensure that happens. But sometimes interior designers and engineers clash and guess who looses.

OOp's, it's a 1997 model. I got in a pissing contest with the factories service manager and he did send me two new springs. but that was before I weighed the trailer.

Thanks for your input, and yeah, I am going to go after them again, maybe even get me an Ambulance Chaser. BTW, I also noticed that the tires are also slightly under the required rating.

That far out of warranty, I don't know if I'd hold out hope for the factory to do anything for you (talk to the ambulance chaser).

Are there any heavy items that can be moved from the slide out side to the other side?

I'd also be looking to see what other tires you could use that wouldn't be overloaded.

Lastly, what axles are under the trailer? Mine has Al-Ko's rated at 5200, even though the trailer's axle weight rating is 10,000, so I guess they built in a little safety margin.

If it were mine and I ended up dealing with it myself, I'd look at getting axles of the next higher weight rating. A pair of axles with springs might be less than you would think, and to me replacing the broken spring with one just like it sounds like it might be a temporary solution at best.
