Optimized for Solo Travel

I plan to travel solo and am looking for a comfortable light weight travel trailer that I can pull with my vehicle that is rated for 3500 lbs. I am disappointed that almost all the units that I see appear to be designed for 2 or more people. They all have some sort of dinette and a double/queen bed. I'm somewhat surprised at this because I expect that a well designed unit that optimizes space for a solo traveler would do well given the growing emergence of solo travelling. In particular, I would like to see a unit with a comfortable recliner (in lieu of a dinette which I find uncomfortable) and a twin bed (perhaps with a bunk above that could also be used for storage). Has anyone seen a lightweight trailer with any of these feature or some sort of a unit designed for one person. Thanks.

There is a "Solo RVers" thread series down in the "Lifestyles" section. You might have better luck posting there.

Good luck!

Look at a Casita ... it fits your requirements, except for the recliner.

Even though your vehicle is rated for 3,500 lbs you will find that wind and mountains will be challenging.
