Travelstar bell washers

Hi I am a new bee RV ' ER

Just purchased a mint 2006 Travelstar 19 ck - trying to find the Bell washers that are mounted on the outside if the hybrid expandable doors.

These bell washers are used for the canvass cover bungee to secure and seal. There are 8 - 4 on left 4 in right if each door - 8 front - 8 rear.

I heard that some manufacturers have made metal and or zinc bell washers to replace the original plastic ones.

Anyone have info in this?

Trying to find a metal replacement vs plastic - I have original replacement part # - but I want metal! As one of our members wrote in a past here.

I contacted the dealer member provided me but that dealer claims to have no clue.

Nor can I help--but your question made me wonder why you would want to wash your bells, no matter what the brand....

Looking at a googled picture of the 2006 Travelstar 19 ck I see you have the same latching system as my two Aerolite hybrids I have owned. What is the "bell washer"?
