Well here are a few pictures of our first of many So Cal IRV2 gatherings. We met, talked shop, drank beverages, talked, made a late night phone call, drank a few more beverages, toured RV's, drank a few more beverages, ate a great meal, listened to some tunes and a little comedy, drank a few more beverages, and repaired a few things.
Sound about right???
Group Shot!!!
The cooks hard at work??? TH_Noob, melon, Griz, Fatdog, c.carney, Friend Bubba, WWFan
Fatdog and Griz talk about the superiority of the Powerstroke to the D-max!!!
A little Thank You to our Wagon Master and DJ,
Sean!!!
A little desert thanks to Vicki and Scott!!!
More to follow!!!

Don, the Griz, a Chevy man, bringing FatDog some necessary transmission repair items, with HORRIBLE things written about Ford on the box:
Rod (melon) and Sean's tunes:

- 7 rigs (2 more within a week or so)
- 29 people
- 3 dogs
- 3 days
- 1 breakdown and successful repair
- 1 midnight phonecall, made under suspicious circumstances
- 1 very good time
- and although there was a lot of ToyHaulers there, Clark and Robin's ALFA certainly proved to be a hit, and became our Command Headquarters for Friday night
- Scott and Vicki created that iRV2 cake as a surprise and I was astonished at how it matched the logo so very accurately in detail (a couple Disney talents at work)

It looks like it was a great gathering of Eagles and a good time. Wish we could have been there; maybe another time. That logo on the cake is just special. And there are some good cooks in the group also..that gets me very excited. Happy Trails indeed!!

Dean and Barbara,
you are now officially expected on the next one!
and Dave,
good cooks in that group??? I'll tell you, that was one campsite that a aimless cow would NOT have wanted to wander by. Hope to see you on one of our rallys as well
Mike

You guys are toooooo much! Great pictures, great sense of humor and best of all, GREAT PEOPLE!
Would you folks like a Photo Album of your own in the Photo Gallery under the iRV2 REgional Clubs where you can keep all your future rally pictures? (I could also move the pictures posted above from the Toy Hauler Album to your new Album but because the URL will change, they will disappear from this thread and you will have to repost them from the new Album)
And if you want this new Album, would you like it titled "Gold Rush Gang?"
Dave

(thanks RVers R Us - Dave !)
So later today we will have a pic area for the 'GoldRushGang' at:
http://irv2.com/photopost/index.php
that we can use for the Golden State region pics.
Clark and I will copy our pics to the new area sometime as well, as to preserve the pics in this thread.
and ehhhh..., thanks Griz !

and a special thanks is due to WWFan, Sean, our Wagon Master for this trip....
....Sean got this rally going, found an appropriate campsite, drove up and revisited it after a neighboring campsite caught on fire a week before our rally, introduced us to some of his other longtime camping friends "the High Desert Huggers", provided the tunes, certainly qualified as SpiritMaster as well as WagonMaster, is a good friend, and well..... rather a good chap all the way around.
thanks Sean !!
