I have been looking for information on a 2001 Weekend Warrior FS2600 but have not been very successful. Can anyone tell me if the toy hauler is half ton towable? I have a 2007 F-150 supercrew 5 1/2 foot bed and 20 inch wheels.
Anyhelp would be greatly apprciated.
Thanks,
Jonathon

Welcome to the forum Jonathon, Not sure I can help much without knowing the weights. I don't have a clue as to what that trailer weighs. Hopefully someone will come along with some good input for you shortly.

No way is that trailer suitable for a 1/2 ton.
My buddy has a 2002 FS2600 with Al sides.
He weighed it and it is 9000lbs empty, no water no toys.
His tongue weight was 1600lbs, with an empty trailer.
The tongue weight made my F250 squat down pretty good.
For a F150, look at the Superlite Warriors.

Thanks for the info...The GVWR of the 2001 FS2600 is a lil less than the 2002. The 2001 is 9800and the 2002 is 11000. The sticker says the dry weight is around 4500. I learned the sticker weight is not always accurate. I towed the trailer on the freeway full of water (120gal) I could tell it was there but didnt seem to have to much trouble going about 65mph and the trailer brakes help with the stoping. Im going to take the trailer to the scales and check the actual weight.

Did you ever get the trailer to the scale?

I am considering buying the same trailer and I am very concerned about the dry weight. What confuses me is that new (2008) models are MUCH heavier!

If the dry weight is really under 5000 lbs then this year/model is perfect for me!

I have not made it to the scales yet however i did take it to th desert with three quads and about 60 gallons of water and my truck pulled it very well. I didn't have any problems at all.
