Go figure, 16" wheels and tires on the 5ers. Do you think Mark got the point this past summer?

Looks like some nice options, I'll look at them this weekend at the RV show.

Eric,

I believe on Sunday. Our friends Scott & Vicki that came to the BBQ with us are looking to upgrade to a Class A like toolmans rig. Were going to help them look at the different A's out there and just wander through the others. Need to check out venders row also.

We bought our Alfa last year at the show. NO new rig for us!!!

Maybe we'll see you there?

Clark

I'm not sure when we're going, but if we're out there on Sunday, I'll give you a call.
BTW: We were down at Camping World on Sunday and they had a really nice looking Class A called the Endevor or Encore (I think). You can't miss it, colorful graphics and all. It was running $150k. 40' 2-3 slides, diesel. Marked down a ton from the MSRP. It was one of the few that I've seen that I really liked in that price range.

Ohhh man...I hate seeing all of the great standard stuff that comes out the next year. Not too much I can't live without, but still...that ceiling fan would be nice , but I kind of like the separate micro & oven. By the way, what are "new style fat boy doors and drawers?"

Deb

Although a lot of that stuff is great, we don't need half that stuff. In fact, about the only things I would really want are the ceiling fan, 16" wheels and the sky light in the bathroom, (for us people over 6'3" who can't fit in the shower).
Did they completely get rid of the drink holder? That was one of those things that I saw and thought I'll never use, but have used like 50 times, and the exterior speakers are a must for any adventure, I hope they at least left the wiring.
I guess it all boils down to that there is always something to complain about. That new 40' triple slide sounds like a beast.

Rod:

I second those emotions...but we got the ceiling fan AND the skylights in our SLC...and you already know why I didn't get THEIR external speakers. And drink holder? That would be my left hand- if I put it down, I loose it!!

I have also seen that front fiberglass cap...it's a tad hideous, but to each his own. As Clark first pointed out, the 16"'s are about the most significant of all the changes- I wonder what that triple-slide is going to weigh?!

Howie...I know...I saw it actually back in May before we picked up our SLC- there was a custom built unit built for one of Mark's friends/neighbors on the GiantRV lot and we looked at the whole thing...I personally don't like it. And the rear one is even worse, IMHO. Seems as though Linc and I are the only ones who hate it, though!

Wow, no thanks on the cap. It looks like a Kling-on (sp?) forehead. Sorrry for the spelling all you Star Trek fans.

BTW 56, thanks for snapping on those pics. of the new trailers. There is some real interesting stuff on the new ones for 2007. You really have to gamble as to when you want to buy one of these things. Just as you get the one you think you want, they come out with one just a little bit better the next year.

Does anyone know where I can get one of those sliding shelves for the basement on the LE?

Rod
