Took the plunge today and bought a 5'er. I've posted on the trailer/towing section but figured I got straight here for an answer.
I'm interested in a Pullrite slider for my short bed but have heard (from my dealer) that because the pullrite did not have a height adjuster it would not be good to use on the WW 5er. I live in So. OC Ca. where the streets are pretty tight and I'm in a cul-d-sac so I am interested in an automatic hitch but not opposed to a manual one if the pullrite is not a good option.
TV is F350 6.0 shortbed.

I would investigate further. The pull-rite is a great hitch. It saved me on more then one occasion when I had a short bed truck.

Well I went with the manual slider and the slider worked great. However, the truck didnt really work great.... My 3.73 gears in my short bed 4x4 just didnt cut it. So.... now I have a new to me '06 Ford Dually Tow Boss sitting in my driveway. Only 9800 miles on it and it is FANTASTIC. It even came with an 18K Reese under-bed hitch!!!! Woooo hooooo. Anyone want to buy my '03 4X4???
