Does anyone pull a 2011 jayco 24z with a 2011 F250? I am wondering if this will be an easy pull. The truck is gas crew cab and the jayco is about to 8000 loaded with stuff. I have never owned a travel trailer before. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The 6.2 is the replacement for the v-10 and is supose to have compatible numbers with the plus being better mpg. I had the v-10 pulling a 13k 5er. Had it been 3k lighter and a trailer I believe it would have done fine. My major issue is I am old school and did not like the engine running at 4k to get the power band.
Summary you should be good, I would just address possible trailer sway for its size.

I went on a 2 hour trip yesterday with rv. Propride hitch is worth the money. No sway from big trucks and helps with lowering front end and steering wheel play. I had some tugging back and forth, pulled over and tighten bars some more and tugging went away. Tranny temp was 190-195. Avg speed 63. Can anyone else provide tranny temp? Also can anyone tell me what they set there trailer brakes at? My 2011 ford had a brake controller installed from the factory. I used 6.5.

Thanks for the help
