2012 Toy Hauler windows problem

I have a 2012 Extreme Warrior FS3000 toy hauler. The windows are horizontal slide type and are VERY difficult to open. I sprayed WD40 clear silicone spray Looked like regular WD40) which helped a little bit and made a mess. Anyone have issues like this with their windows? Is it something I have to live with????

Dust mixed with mositure and mildue cloggs the slide. A tooth brush and green scrubby pad will loosen debris and and a vacuum will suck it up. Fine steel wool removes paint and breaks down leaving fine metal behind that can turn into rust. Paraffin wax rubbed on the slides after cleaning may last longer than oil which collects dust/dirt.
