For those of you WHO AREN'T GOING TO ONE OF THE BIGGEST NASCAR RACES OF THE YEAR, it would behove you to follow this thread and make plans now to attend- if it's anything like the past Rallies, it's a HOOT!

This is an alltogether off topic comment and directed to Dirk. I just wanted to tell you that the song (back in the early 50's) called Mumbo rock or something like that is exactly in tune with your bouncing avartar or whatever it is.  You know what I mean! Whoopie!

Now I'll have to try and find that song....
We're finally starting to get the Rally stuff started. The permit process has started and we're hoping to have some vendors and maybe even a tent for the potluck, along with all the usual fun stuff. With all of that, it looks like we'll be charging about $25 per RV, hopefully that seems reasonable to most folks.
We will be needing some help though, looking for volunteers....

The new http://www.socalrally.net website is now available. For this year, all procedes will be going to CORVA. CORVA will be in attendance and will have an active role at the Rally.
We're still adding content, but there is a forum that you can sign up for and share what you'd like to see. We also have a Gallery that will be available soon. The sponsor page will also be up soon, so for those that want to be a sponsor, please contact us.

The Gallery is now available. Just go to http://www.socalrally.net and select the Gallery link on the left side of the home page. You will have to sign up for the Gallery separately, sorry, but that's the best we can do. Also, be sure to check out the forums on the home page, we're looking for your feedback.

Just a heads up.
The Paypal link on the SoCal Rally homepage is now working. So please use it to prepay for the Rally. Doing so also gets you 5 free Raffle tickets.

I have looked all over...but since I don't download music ... I am having a hard time...
It is actually "Mambo Rock" sung by Bill Haley And the Comets" from 1955.(Part of it was in the "Rock around the Clock" movie from 1956)
You can go to ITunes and search for Mambo Rock. It is there for a buck ...but that is the best I can do!
