A new kind of toy hauler

Trailer life had an article about Lifestyle RV reinventing the toyhauler for someone who only wants to take 1 motorcycle and do it in style. We have wintered in Fl for the last 5 yrs and during that time I have had 2 toyhaulers, the last one was A Raptor 3605 with the 78" rear door and the couch on a happy jack lift. When the motorcycle was unloaded the back room became a "man cave" or family room BUT the wall dividing the kitchen and couch area was still a divider and it seemed we did not use the back 10 feet of the rv. We bought the Alpha Gold 3905 shmc (side hauler motorcycle) [URL="http://www.lifestylelrv.com/page/384/3905SH-Motorcycle-Garage[/URL] and have lived in and used it for 3 months. The quality and workmanship is second to none and the loading and unloading of my roadglide is so much easier than riding up the ramp. This just proves "you CAN have your cake and eat it too".

Someone just posted about your floorplan on the Ford forums I'm on. Seems like a great setup. Congrats on the new rig and time to update your sig line!

I saw this TH in MD in Feb. The layout is really nice, you get the nice living room. Does your RG have extended bags? I am really concerned my CVO street glide will load without scrapping bags.

The handle bars will be the closest, Have the standard rear bags and there is plenty of room at the roll up door.

Very interesting. I had seen this unit advertised and was very excited to see it. We visited a dealer in Texas and he didn't have the SHMC unit but another regulat unit by Lifestyle and we thought the quality was very questionable, so we are re-excited (if there is such a word) and maybe will take another look.

Thank you.

Capt.
We had an issue with the Norcold refer(it just quit) had 2 replace the whole cooling unit, but i prefer it to the Samsung because of the battery's and inverter, other than normal new coach tweeks it has been great. We have had excellent help from Lifestyle when i could not find some wires and specs.

I just realized what u meant by extended bags, sorry 4 the da attack. Look up the rampage lift, because the coach has the hydraulic feet u can raise the front so that the ramp angle would not be a problem.

Very cool idea. I no longer have a motorcycle, but if I did, that would be tops on my list for consideration!

Hey Fred, how are you doing with the alpha gold? My wife really likes this model. We will be looking at them very close in Hershey this year.

That is a really cool idea. It does use the least space possible, especially if you are only taking one motorcycle.
