Well I installed the air bags on the Tow Boss today, what a major PIA that was. The bracket that the u bolts attached to is slightly different than old red. I had to trim the bracket by a 1/4" to allow the bag bracket to fit properly. Cutting the 3/8" thick bracket was a real joy.

And then having to drill the frame 8 more times, oh yea baby

But I just pulled out a bigger
and made it all go together.

Now I have that added lift if I need it. Put the inflation lines in the same spot. Holds air so I'm good to go...

Next on to the fog and back up lights...

Clark

P.S. NO install picts as there was no way I was going to touch my camera the way my hands looked.

Clark I sure loved those air bags on the trip to Pismo. Well worth the money. I'm thinking about midship turn signals now for those idiots who can't see!!!

Yeap...I've been thinking about those myself- but one of the sales features I used on the DW was that we didn't need them with a 1-Ton- now they're kinda like a "nice to have". I'll let some time go by before I bring that up again!

Clark,

Check these lights out. HellaI have the model HL-200A. They are incredibly bright. I have mounted them under the rear bumper and it's daylight when I turn them on.

Nick,

Thanks for the info. I look at some Hella's yesterday, they were nice but to big for what I wanted. The 200A's look about the right size.

Thanks again,

Clark
