Now...I know it's been awhile since I've been to Tom's house to pick up that fine pontoon boat that he sold me, but I couldn't help notice the sign on the road to his house to help remind him of the danger of being cautious whilst the rain come down, and I just wanted everyone to know just how import-tant it is if your're in his heck 'o the woods, that you gotta slow down if there's some moisture flogin' your travels to his house...they got warn'n signs, but dang it- if there's just some folk who don't look at those things...

Hope to heck he fair'd well if 'ol Rita happened to spurn some rain his di-rection...

(No really Tom- hope you're doing well! Did you get all your yardwork done, dang-nab-it?).

Sean

Well, I coulda, woulda, shoulda, but haven't yet. Too darn much to do in a few days. Finally got the trees cut up but still have a lot of limbs to pick up and burn and still haven't touched the TV tower yet. Thinking about starting that tonight.

Still getting over that sick feeling Sunday morning after checking my Lotto ticket. Had 4 out of 5 and the fifth number was 51 and I had 50. The difference between 50 and 51 was $999, 400.00. Thats $600 VS a million in case you can't count that high. ARRRRGHHHHHHH!!!!!! Thats my hard luck story for the year.

ahhhh...."missed it by THAT much"!!! Well, I guess what they say isn't true: "Close enough for handgrenades and horseshoes". Dang- I'd be sick too!

Well go and get that darn TV antenna fixed for Mrs. VR, and don't fall off the roof, OK? THAT would be hard luck.

Ken, thats cause enough to start drinking. Wait, Hummmm, gotta figure out a new line for that.

Hey, got the TV tower down. It's all in the metal scrap yard down by the creek along with the antenna. Now, got to figure out what to do next.

You got your diesel bought for the trip? Filled mine today after taking it in for a recall on the fuel filter. Take a new one anytime on the generals dollar, expecially when it needed changing anyway. Took my Edge off for the trip to the dealer, god, didn't realize, what a difference. Thought about leaving it off for the trip this weekend but no....think I'll put it back on.

Alright, Smokem if you got-um. Limbs, that is. Anybody need some firewood?

Got part of the mess cut up and stacked and along comes that danged cold front and more wind and now I've got the rest of the broken limbs down that were just hanging there after the storm. At least its cool now, don't sweat as much. Time to go camping and forget this sillyness for awhile.

Update: Gotter done!

Well, all except for a new antenna. We're just gonna have to watch Dish and be happy with their limited HD for awhile. At least the mess is cleaned up.
