After waking up with a sore back more often than not, Moski took me to the mattress store yesterday and we bit the bullet and ordered a new mattress for our front bed. They delivered it today:
We were a little concerned about getting a regular queen sized mattress, because the SLC only has 77" from the slide wall and the coat closet in the bedroom, but it fits just fine (a regular queen is 60" x 80", and the salesman said- and yes, his lips WERE moving- that the mattress could vary in length by 1-2", but he gave us the option of refusing delivery if it didn't fit). It wasn't cheap by any standard, but we figured we'll be using it on a regular basis for a while (it has a 20 year warranty so THAT outta do it)!
As much as I'd like to share our newfound joy, I'm afraid I'll just have to report on it's useability and you'll have to buy it.
