Hi Everyone:

Hey...if anyone's gonna be at the Nascar race on November 11-13th, c'mon by and say 'hi'! This is our big NNC race get-together, and it'll be a hoot.

We've got 6 spots O144-P146 in the Coyote 2 section, and it'll be dolled up beyond hope after the DW's get done with it! Lots of partying to be had by all.

Oh...and on edit: the weekend before many of us who will be at PIR will be taking 8 laps at Fontana...Saturday the 5th, and spectators/hecklers are all invited!

Hi Sean..

I gotta be honest. King and I went up to see a
Nascar race at the Infineon Raceway and we were
pretty disappointed. The $100 plus ticket was pricey and we could only see a small part of the entire race at any one time.

Oh yeah, we also couldn't find my car after the
race..... too many bruskees had nothing to do with it

I'd much rather watch Nascar on the big screen.
Our local stock car races are more exciting.

Take pictures for me.......

Howie:

Nascar Race Attendance Rule #1: Sit as HIGH as You Can, And Only At Roundy-Round Tracks! Watch Road Course Races From The Convienence Of Your Couch.

See...you broke Rule #1- you'll have to say 50 'Hail Marys' for it, and promise to rout for Mark Martin the rest of the season, OK?

Seriously, when I got into Nascar it was because one of our Regional Managers in Indy invited me for my birthday back in 1997 to go to the Brickyard- other than maybe Daytona, there's no better track to get indoctrinated into Nascar. My #1 Rule at that time was to make it a point to go to at least one race per year to keep the blood boiling and the goosebumps bumping. Now it's at least two races. BEFORE THAT POINT, I hardly even knew Nascar existed. But I'll agree that it's just like football- best watched on TV, and especially when you can make a party out of the occasion (like this weekend's Sat Night race @ Charlotte). We chose Phoenix because it's the second to the last 'Race For The Chase' race, and all three of our guys are in the chase. AND, like football, the tailgate/TH rampgate parties are just about (99%) as much fun as Jimmy Buffett concerts have!

The only pix we'll come out of it with are the party pix...will get some posted here when we get back!

Sean

Enjoy the trip! Wouldn't that be neat to see #6 win it.

Thanks Tom!! Now if you ask Moski, she'll tell you the same, but she roots for #12, Ryan Newwwwwwmmmaannnn in a closet-style of way.

Mark's due...and I can't think of a better driver to win it! Hope I got enough energy to be able to cart my buttt up to the hill on Sunday to watch it!

Hey, I'll go for Viagra instead of the rocket man even though I like Ryan too. Tell Moski I'll go with her.

It's a big tossup...but her knowing how it was Mark that got us BOTH into the sport, she's really rooting for Mark. It's the age/beauty thing that's got her in a tizzy over Ryan instead of Mark!!

I'd like to see Mark win it just because its his last round. Actually I'd like to see Rusty win it too, for the same reason. With that aside, I think Ryan is a deserving driver, and a hard charger too.

Tom!!

Didn't get to see the race (got to watch the Angels lose instead ), but the rocket Man won the Busch race tonight...5th one this season...it's only because Mark and Rusty weren't driving [ouch! Moski!- quit hitting me!!]

I'm getting nervous about tomorrow...
