Anyone modified Happi-Jack sofa bed system in TH for SXS?

Bought a puma unleashed 373qsi 5th wheel. All kinds of issues with dealer from ordering it. Questions and tours all followed up with lies lies lies from them. Complete nightmare. But down to business.

I get this thing and measurements are nothing like supposed to be. My rzr-S now will not fit how it is because the happi-Jack sofa bed system is too low. My question is has anyone modified theirs or moved the whole rack for the system higher up to the ceiling so it will clear? There has to be someone out there cause I know people are buying these for sxs's since they are the most popular. Can't believe puma makes sh$t like this can't even fit one of smallest sxs's in. Any help appreciated.

I had that problem so I put a new cage on the RZR.

Yes, lifted my buddies up. Checked the clearance above the jacks, marked there location to keep them parallel, removed the screws and lifted the posts to the ceiling, re attached.
Easy peasy , picked up 6 inches.

Is it just the sofa system or is the sofa plus bed? I have not modified mine, but I've read that removing the top bunk allows the sofa config to move up...

Sofa plus bed. Removing the top bunk will not give you clearance unless you remove the hardware for the upper bunk from the inside of the post. Not sure how that is done, seems i read I t on another thread.

Awesome thanks Brent. I was thinking that just didn't know if there was any kind of special hardware or anything in the walls or if it was just simply screws into the studs. This is what I will do. Trying not to mod my rzr too much in case I just get another SXS thanks tho man for all the ideas lol

Oh oh...
Sorry to hear you had a bad time at the dealer. :-(
Your plight resonates with me though, because I am about to try to cram an RZR4 into the back of a TH, and I had assumed the height would be ample. How tall is the RZR you are trying to load?
Has anyone else had this problem with an RZR?

My rzr has the stock suspension turned up an inch or so with 26" tires and at the top of roof it's like right at 6' and it's about 7" too tall. What TH do you have?

Well I am still 10 days out from pulling the trigger but, looking at a 2009 Heartland Cyclone 3914. I could completely remove the upper bed for more space. I am never going to need it.
Also I could look for shorter cages for the RZR (which I also don't have yet...)
Not being able to get the rzr in the back would be a showstopper :-(

I'd say just make sure the rack is mounted all the way to the top and not like 10 inches off

Beds

Wow, there was that much room to move them? Did you manage to get your RZR in there?

Bed and sofas. Moved them up 6 inches or so. Rear posts were 1/2 inch from the ceiling. There was still enough travel to allow the sofas to be low enough for sitting.
Leveled from the floor, so any ceiling slope would not throw the level off.
