It was announced yesterday that Weekend Warrior (The RV Factory) had acquired Augusta RV. Apparently the owner/founders of each company have known each other for 30 years. All operations will be moving into a 77,000 sf bldg in Elkhart and be up and running together by December.
My Weekend Warrior is in production and out for paint so it may go to the new facility for the finish work or be the last one out the door in Wakarusa.

The current Weekend Warrior is a relatively new company also. The original WW was in So Cal and went bankrupt. They let their trademark registration "Weekend Warrior" lapse and the new WW bought it. I am picking up my new 4250w the week after Thanksgiving in Indiana. im not familiar with Augusta but it seems they build a quality unit. It looks like both are factory direct operations so they will not be pumping out the quantities of operations that are trying to feed dealerships which should reduce routine defects. IMO, I think it will be good for both brands.
Kinda sad as well as disturbing?? They followed the initial path sorta like Evergreen (quality & slow build) with the exception being the owners did not "sell out"..... too bad they could not find a silent financial source and remain independent??
