Hi all... New to forum and rv-ing in general.

We bought a 05 Wanderer by Thor, three months ago. Original owner showed me how to use the awning in a matter of seconds, and made it look extremely easy, as I'm sure it is.
Well, when i went to do it... I loosened the two black knobs on each leg and un latched the legs. This dropped the awning. But never got it to roll out. Had to get help putting it back in place to tow to storage.
Its now at my house and dont want to make matters worse. The "roll up"/"pull down" lever is stuck in pull down. Lots of tension. I had to pull awning up from roof while someone at the bottom could latch the legs back in. We had to use the bolt/screw adjustment to shorten legs to go in.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like you didn't release the spring to allow the awning to roll out. If it is hard to release you may be going the wrong way with it. I had the same problem the first time I used my awning.

Thank you! Latch looked to be unlocked, but wasn't. Just stuck.

Spray some silicone lubricant on it?
