Basement Storage Measurements?

Is there a place that manufacturers list actual measurements of basement storage areas? Cubic feet doesn't help when I'm trying to figure out if something fits in an opening.

I don't really have a specific TH model in mind here, just wondering why this isn't a common thing...seems it would be important to a lot of people.

Considering a TH for FT use, but would like to use the garage as a hobby room/ extended LR space.

Thing is, I have two trikes (bicycles) that I would just LOVE to fit in basement storage instead of taking up a lot of room in the garage. Am I out of luck?

I've never seen that level of detailed specifications on any RV. You could measure the minimum your trikes need and take a tape measure to shop vehicles. You could perhaps carry the trikes in the garage and when stopped you could chain them up outside when using the garage space.

Thanks, I was afraid that would be the outcome...measuring while shopping.

Not much for basements in THs

We looked at many brands and saw none with basement room for two 2 wheel bikes so nothing for trikes for sure. We use the garage for bikes and kayaks and just unload when we set up. Now to figure how to fit 2 ATVs in with all that and we will be set! I might end up with one of the over the cab systems for the bikes and kayaks eventually when I get tired of moving equipment all the time.

Good luck! I got rid of the kayaks a few years ago...sounds like a good thing due to storage. I think I can fit the trikes in a larger storage area if I fold them...just trying to avoid doing that all the time. Otherwise, I need 3' in height, 36" in width and almost 7' in length. Didn't figure that would be doable.

I would guess most toy haulers would not have that big of a basement due to the generator taking a lot of the front storage.
