Battery box

Hey there folks. New to the forum. Well new to posting. I've done a ton of reading here.
I have a kz Venom 4013tk. I have just recently acquired a 8D class battery however it doesnt fit inthe stock battery box. Looking for some advice. If I remove the door jamb I can slide the battery in tightly and replace the door jamb. Or should I just pull the battery wire into the hydraulic storage room and mount the battery there.
Thoughts? What's everyone else battery storage look like ?

Put it where it’s most convenient for you. Mine is in the generator compartment.

I hate 8Ds after years of struggling with them in boats. They are too big, too heavy and hard to service. You will get better amps ( cranking or hours) out of multiples of other types of batteries that are smaller and easier to handle.

Thanks for the response. Only reason for running the 8d is because I got it for free

Free is a very good price. Put it where it is easily serviced.

Our 2 battery boxes are connected together to a vent hose that vents directly outside.
