You all misread. It's an 85lb. rabbit. That's what we're planning to have at the BBQ.....

Ok....UNCLE!

Ok...let me get this straight...ERIC: you've got a 85 pound rabbit that we're gonna pit-cook at your get-together? And it's from NM? And just how long ago did you catch this infamous rabbit? Was a car dealer or butcher involved?

I've got do-DO-do-Do, do-DO-do-Do, do-DO-do-Do in my brain now!!!

Alright, alright, it's an 85 Volkswagon Rabbit that is on blocks in my backyard aka: The DMZ. It belongs to a friend that is storing it there while waiting for it to either spontanously combust or start, of which the latter is pretty unlikely.

Anyhow, I had a line on a pig for the BBQ, but it fell through. Any ideas?

piggie roast:
http://cuban-christmas.com/pigroast.html

other then that, we've gotten some good full loin meats before that we carve upon need at the BBQ.

me though? i am serious that my simple tastes actually prefer burgers at BBQs. just a simple dude i guess. I'll be happy to bring and carve steaks, but i'll probably stand in the burger line myself.

Sean
that was a gem from theDieselStop,... apparently them Cubans know their piggies as well as their stogies.

That 85pd. rabbit is going to take a lot of BBQ sauce though. I'm sure it tastes like chicken, so could we make "Hot BBQ Rabbit Wings" as oerduvers?

Does anyone else like burgers as much as me, or am i out in the cold on this one?

I'm a burger and dog guy myself. It allows me to remain mobile while eating. Kind of like a whale feeding on krill.
