Check this out! Its kind of hard to read since I had to scan it in. The trophy on the bottom is for "Fastest time of the day" at Nationals in 93, signed by Zora Dontov, known as the father of the Corvette. This was the crowning moment of my autocross career spanning 16 years. After this I converted the car to Drag Racing only.

Tom,

That's a great trophy and a super achievement.

Zora Duntov is one of my automotive idols. I run the Duntov .30 .30 cam in the Z-28.

Tom, now all you have to do is to get that Duramax to run like the Vette.

its almost a crowning moment for me just to have a buddy who has that trophy and signature!.
Dude, you are/were a NHRA Drag Racing Record Holder. Are in our book.
Good job friend!
I had LT1 parts (cam) in one of my SS (Street Squirrel) Chevelles. It was a particular source of pride for me for many years that engine of mine, partially fueled by LT1. You apparently won the maker's award. I reckon that is pretty darn good.

When you come on out here for SoCal Track night, you ARE bringing that trophy with you.

Mike
