Does the sump pump hose have a regular hose connection?

I really think you are better going and buying a 75 ft 3/4 inch hose and dedicating it to that purpose than trying all the other stuff. IMO

SJ:

That's what I wonderin' and hope you can answer that...hey guys...we are a distributor of alot of hose companies, and when I can get to the hose catalogs at the office, I'll see what I can finger out....I think I can come up with something that'll be a good product at a reasonable cost (heck...it may even be clear so you can see the soup being dumped!

Hey Tom...question: many that I've looked at say it's a good idea to have a 1" exhaust hose...is this true? Or will, like you said, a 3/4" will do?

Sean, I used this puppy 125ft, first 75 was through a 3/4 hose and the last was a 5/8 hose, slightly downhill, not more than a two ft drop over the distance. It was like sh?t out of a goose. Need I say more!

I should say that the sh?t out of a goose is what my son said while holding the hose, just to make sure it all went in the can and the hose didn't go flying.

That is the EXACT endorsment I have been looking for! I wanna buy a decent, flexible 3/4" garden hose dedicated for this use. You have just made me a happy pooper cleaner! I am buying this weekend now!

Where is the best place to buy this critter?

Thanks Tom!

Found 25 foot 1 1/4 sump pump hose at Home Depot for under $7. I think I may try this route connecting two sections together with a hose clamp coupler and a few fitting for the end into the pump. Should run me about $20 for 50 foot and be a bit larger diameter than the hose route. Plus the added bonus of never worrying about someone using the hose for something other than draining the pooper

Sandjunkie, I just received mine in the mail today. Looks like it will work just fine. Looks like a little garbage disposal with a sure flow water pump motor. I'm gonna just try a 5/8 garden hose first. The output on the thing looks to be about 3/8 dia where the hose screws onto so I don't think we need to get crazy with hose diameter. The RV is in storage so I think I'm gonna hook it to a spare battery and see how it pumps water up hill to my sewer in the driveway. I'll let you know how it goes.
