Changing black tank termination point

We have a 2015 Dutchmen Voltage 3970 and its black water tank drain port is located underneath the mid-coach slide. As I get a bit older and less agile, it becomes more difficult to get under the slide when necessary.

I'm thinking of shortening the 3" pipe that delivers the black water from the tank to the hose to where the black water port is not under the slide and easier to get to.

Does anyone know of a reason why I can't do this? Maybe a rule or law that requires a certain length of pipe between the tank and exit port?

Thank you!

I doubt it. I've seen all kinds of configurations, lengths, and designs. It seems every coach is different so if there is some type of code, it must be based in something else.😃

That's why I do all my hookups before I put the slides out.
