Dang..... Another Mystery Wire Found??

I installed a new stereo AM/FM CD player in the Warrior after
the original one quit working. Exposing all the wires, I find
3 that are not connected.

Two (2) are my exterior speaker wires....... not hooked up yet.

And there is also a black 2 wire, same gauge as the speaker wire but
black instead of clear. It's not powered and runs to the left side of the
exterior wall where it disappears

Does anyone know what the black wire is for?

56 I have a total of 8 speakers in my rig, two outside, two rear, two middle and two bedroom. Have never looked inside the cabinet yet to see how all are hooked up but hope this helps.

Yep.... I got them too. This black wire is just another
extra wire to ???

King Salami loaned me his wire tracer and it
appears that this wire was destined to go to an
exterior rear right side speaker. I traced it
to a location just below the middle of the
right rear window... and then the wire ends.
The only way to access it would be to cut thru
the exterior or interior wall.

I don't plan on mounting speakers..... I just
wanted to know where the heck this wire went to.

If you might recall, I have factory installed speaker
wires to the front right side of the rig as well
as factory installed speaker wires that end up
inside the left side shore cable box.

Anyway.... another little WW mystery solved

wasn't the right rear speaker wire the one you were missing originally? I thought that the last mystery speaker wire you found ended up going to the left side of your trailer, and seem to recall that you had mentioned that you had found the right front wire. So it looks like this was a correctly placed wire (almost). It isn't cool for a manufacturer to use different wire types for a matched pair of speakers though, thats something that I would do.

And what is a wire tracer?

You're memory is right on. I wish WW had
run that rear right side wire just a little
further to access it from under the rig as
they should have.

kinda like a stud-finder, well ... i guess, except its a wire-tracer

and can you believe how many tools at Sears all of a sudden have laser lights on them this year??
I mean you can't find a drill, a saw, a level, a anything, ...that doesn't have a thin little red laser light coming out of it.

I have emersed myself back into my garage of infinite projects (GOIP) lately, and I've had to wander on over to Crafstman to get a little something or other, and that darn place is starting to look like a dance bar back in the '70s what with all the lights flashing all over the place.
