How's this for a dinner party. On our trip to So. Carlsbad 2 weeks ago, the weather wasn't the greatest and everyone did a potluck and wanted to eat together, SO we all piled into the Alfa and enjoyed a feast while watching the world series.

Howie,

Sounds like you all had a blast at Razor Road, wish I could have been there. But sometimes work gets in the way of fun, which is why I won't be able to make Dove Springs either. But, On a positive note, I am being sent to Las Vegas for a Fire/EMS convention on Fri and Sat. I even get to take the DW along with me. Probally drag the Alfa with us as room prices are unbelieveable for weekend nights everywhere in Vegas. I can stay for two nights at Oasis for $90.00, rooms are running $175.00+ per night. 2 nights at Oasis and the fuel there and back will still be cheaper than the cost of 2 nights room rental.

So, I'll have to read about the fun again. Some day when I'm retired like you, I'll be everywhere.

You guys are right, family and friends are what it's all about. I'm glad my parents took us camping when I was young. I have developed a love for travel and camping, something I have passed on to my kids and I'm sure you will or have passed on to yours.

When your all together, either in the mountains, at the beach,in the desert or where-ever, it just doesn't get any better...

Enjoy the upcoming trip(s)!!!

Clark

Looks like you had a great time Clark.
WOW.....that Alfa can hold a lot of people. That many peeps in our TH and we'd be packed in like sardines.
