thanks Sean,
and good luck with selling your trailer!
i know its getting close to target date for you.

while at the dealer, i walked over to the heavy duty truck area to look at the 4x4 duals, but got even a little more depressed when i saw a sticker price, so just grabbed another free doughnut and left
(but that was $52k for a F350 Harley, not a 4x4 dually. if there had been a 4x4 front-center there, i might have hovered long enough in that spot to attract a sales-dude. ahhhhh, maybe i'll let you break that ground)

Mike,

Sorry about the problems with the truck. Did you hear or feel something break, or did it come on gradually? I hope the fix is a easy one. If the rigs still packed, go out and enjoy the weekend.

Like Sean said, lets look into a place up in the air where it's cooler. It would be a great reason to break in Sean's new rig.

Sean, sorry for the short call last night, right after you called, my captain needed some info from me on a call I was on earlier in the day. 53 hours at work, 32 calls, 4 1/2 hours of sleep. I'm tired!!!

Sandy Feet, what happened to your dog? Did I read right that he ran off? Did you find him?

I hope you, Nick and Howie got home safely!!! We will have to do another trip soon.

I'm going to catch some ZZZZZ'sss

Clark

Oh oh...I don't like the sound of that...Sandy: please tell me you didn't loose BigMac? Ahhh....please? We just had to put down one of our cockers today...I'd really hate to see another loss...

All is well (or was when I left yesterday) with Mac. He got loose when some fireworks went off and ran approximately 2 miles to another campsite. He was found and back home within an hour.

Hi all,

We just got home!

After everyone left Dove Springs, Nick and Marianne and Steve and Peg and I
travelled up to Lake Isabella and did another two days of fun and good eating...
plus great riding.

The Dove Springs gathering was really great. So many wonderful folks and shared fun.
I'll try to get some photos up at Webshots. Clark and Sean, I wish you could
have stayed for the pot luck............ man was that an incredible feast.
Fat Dog, we sure worried about you, but glad your safe.

Gregg, I'm still on high from your chili

Next I need to go thru 392 email messages.............

it is fun sitting here listening to people talk about that trip

i sat here soooo depressed about getting half way there, and sitting in some parking lot with our lab running around while i tried to figure out why i was having a brake pull
i can say for the first time ever, i sat down and stared at the ground sighhhhhhh

'56, great to here back from you, missed meeting you, i was dying to check your rig out

Sandy and King, so very likewise!! and to think i had packed a few dozen dead discs, for nothing

and Clark, one last time how much I appreciate your thoughtfulness, (and yes! i just also noticed you are a 4year-2 month guy )

of course Sean, its almost funny how unfunny i felt for a bit there, we'll roust soon!

and to a huge score of other people who i spoke to or have read over the past months,
you guys sounded like it was great !!

cool
Mike

I think we're gonna have to get 56 enrolled in a speed-reading class here real soon so he can catch up!!

Where's Sandy??!!!

Mike- we'll get together here real soon...have 'ya unloaded yet? If I didn't have to play truck/trailer salesguy this weekend (and hopefully only this weekend), we could've got together- my TH has been rested for a week now and time to get out again!

Sean

Howie,

Glad to see you all made it home safely!!! Thanks again for the welcome you and Marianne and Nick gave me. I felt like I was seeing old friends again. Your trailer is beautiful, and I'm sure you'll have a lot more additions done by the next time I see it.

Clark

No !!, and thanks for reminding me about that tooo

and them pics are just too much!
PERFECT !
i like the dirt, riding knobbie tires
almost looks like you took a picture-postcard and superimposed some bikes over it, that perfect ...
looks like the bike rider had a backpack, so taking a couple sandwiches and a couple cans along for the ride; light jackets and green brush so it was a great temperature

speaking of superimposing, people are starting to put Sean's pic over their RV de-lam problems or something like that, but thats a whole different situation

thanks for the snaps
