Well, it looks like we have the maiden voyage happening on the
second weekend in May at Dove Springs. Sandy and King Salami,
Steve and Peg, and I are camping just past the cattle
grate, same place as the 1st Annual So Cal Rally was located.
Come as you are,
bring all the kids, grandkids and all the toys you can haul. As usual, we'll
probably do a potluck one of the nights and do as much riding as possible.
I'll post the GPS coordinates as soon as I get um.

Hope to meet some of you iRV2'ers

Dove Springs I believe is east of Isabella? maybe right off I14, i am not quite sure.
Where is it?
We will look it up on our mapbook and see what it looks like here.
Are you leaving SantaCruz on Friday morn? If I have its location correct, it looks like it is a handful of hours from you.

I'm ready to roll.
What kind of riding and camping there?

Mike

Mike,
I plan on getting up there maybe as early as May 11 with Steve and Peg, who
have a new WWFB2200. Sandy and King Salami will be up there on on May 13th.

We're all itching to go riding...... Dove Springs is great area and real close to
Jawbone which is also fantastic.

Glad you're coming......
May 11th. Sandy and King Salami

Check this site out....

Sean,

I would love to go, BUT as always I'm working the 14th thru the 16th. Dove Springs is 65 miles from my house, can make it there in an hour. The wife is not sure she wants to get the new rig dirty yet, shes liken the fancy trailer park thing right now.

But we are going to Mammoth June 16 thru 19, and Malibu July 29 thru Aug 5 and South Carlsbad State Beach Oct 20 thru 23.

Hopefully we'll throw in a river trip sometime, we have a time share with CRA. The trailer has been home for a month now sittin, need to get out!!!

You all have a great time at Dove Springs, it's a fun place to ride.

Clark

P.S. Updated my Avatar pict!!!!

Where are you camping at Mammoth? We always head in that direction come summer. Maybe we can join you.

Why Clark- yes you did! Very good! That's why it takes me forever to download the threads you're in! Gotta get back home to DSL.

It's too bad you're workin'- you got to break that habit! And Mammoth...never been there- sounds like a great place to go...regardless, we need to find some time to get together!

I'm still workin on Dove Springs...I'll see what Moski says- it could be very tough since I've been gone two weeks and I'll tryin' to sell the '95, with this weekend also planned in Calico, but I'll give it the 'ole college try!

Sandy,

Were camping at the Mammoth Mountain Campground which is on the main road as you pull into town. Were going up with a friend for the weekend, hopefully to ski one day and to play golf one day and drink uh relax one day, etc...

I guess it depends on the weather also, for they will still have snow then. We were up skiing a couple weeks ago and their are hoping to have skiing on July 4th and beyond.

How it will be down in town I don't know. It will be fun though.

Check it out, the more the merrier!!!

Clark

Clark: if you've got to work on the 14th, and way you can join us on at least the 13th? I think we can get there by 5 or 6 pm on Friday, so there's some time to get to connect...

We're just gonna have to get out early Sunday so I can get home and wash the darn TH...only hangup is if we sell it by then, but THAT would be a good thing. I'm startin to get a tad nervous so close to pDi-Day!!!!

56,

When you pull into Dove Springs off HWY 14, where do you camp? If there is any chance I can get there to visit on the 13th I will try to come out for the day.
