OK, SH, is planned, and in the books. Let's work on April. I'm talking the weekend of the 22-23rd. I have another small group that we have been going there with for the past 20 years +. We love running the central-eastern end of the dunes and regularly run HARD, mid-AM, and again mid afternoon. We love flopping over the razors, running the switchbacks, and have nicknamed one section, on the eastern end, "the freeway", and if smooth, we will run it at close to 80 MPH+! We usually do a 2 hour hard run, (w/ refreshment breaks in-between), which are a regular exercise. We DO, run safe, we break off, if another group has the line we're intending to take, and we watch for stragglers, and circle back for those that have broken down. Campfires are wide open conversation, (after the kids are in bed), and this group would love to see the legend of the "SOBE" in action.

Nuff said? WHO'S IN?

I don't see any reason why we can't make this...April outta be a great time out there- definitely one of the last trips out there...I'll pencil in the dates and see how she flies, OK? I just wish I had my buggy a bit more running than it is!
