Well folks it's about time to put this thread to bed! The LiL women and I, also the Grand Daughter, picked up the MH Sat. I won't get into ( heck I guess I will) how at the end of the PDI the Mgr. said that they made a mistake on the taxes and they wanted another $625 good thing I wasn't in the MH they would have had to fix the ceiling in the thing cuz that's right were I would have been screwed into, bottom line they ate it, or I would have left. On to better thing all checked out and we drove it home. Been working on the trailer I got for the Road King and gettin ready to pour some mud to extend the driveway for the land yacht! I'll try to attach some pics but not sure how to, I told ya I was computer challenged! Happy 4th........Bill

Been trying to attach pics but no go?? Help!!

Welll Twinny! Congrats buddy!!

Aaaahh...and pouring some mud in July...hopefully you got someone OTHER than yourself to dive into that task...otherwise you'll have to buy stock in Gatorade and a bottled water company.

Hey..if you need help with the pics, just let us know...there's some 'experts' here (the biggest one being gone somewhere around the North Rim of the Grand Canyon!), but we can help...just yell.

Good stuff...enjoy!

TwinCam,

Congrats on your new rig. Can't wait to see it.

Upload your pics to the irv2 server in the photo section.

Once it's on the server, click on the pic to make it larger, then right click on the pic and select properties. Copy the URL and then paste this into your post using the image tab which is the second from the right in the "post a reply" window. It's easier then it sounds.

TwinCam,
high desert gave you the straight scoop,
its just that your pile was too big,
I believe the pics have to be within 250K to post. (yours was 837K)
There are a number of picture reducing shareware softwares out there, or email it to me and i'll reduce it for you, or post it for you, if you want.
I'm anxious to see your new single-cam beast,
Mike

TwinCam Bill
well you just said the magic words:
Eat Some Ribs
i am hungryyyy

The maiden journey up to San Luis Obispo, with the bike for some riding. Sounds fun.

And since we have another rider here now, how are you tying your bike down? That bike weighs 650 pounds or so and is worth a couple bucks too. How are your tie-down points set up and what kind of straps are you using?
I've developed my own pattern for doing that over the years, (although I have also just used a couple tie-downs and stacked boxes around it when i'm in a hurry and just not made any quick turns.) If i just compress the front shocks good and tight, the bike seems to tow easy.

Have a great trip !

Hey everybody, made the maiden voyage last week/weekend and being a virgin RV'r (well I guess I'm no longer that) it was fantabulous!! All went well the trailer trailed, the MH MH'd, the bike scooted and the ribs went down! I actually really had no real problems with the MH, had a receptacle problem that turned out to only be a GFI, so all really was great. FatDog I'm attaching a pic, or I hope to as far as tie doewns in the trlr. It's called E track and ya bolt it through the floor into the frame attach these D rings any were along the track and strap it down worked great. Also a pic of the site.

Well the pics showed up in the photo section but don't know how to get them here in the post.

TwinCam, Congrats on the successful maiden voyage. Sounds like you had a great time.

To attach the pics, go to my thread on the top of page 7 of this thread. I had trouble the first time, but after that it's a breeze.
