First big trip

So we took our 2017 Venon 4111TK out on a 2 week trip thru Tennessee. Loved the trip! So the only real problems that occurred were during a hard downpour we had a small leak from the roof at the rear AC. I discovered that the leak was from the seal around where the unit mounted. I discovered that a couple of the mounting bolts were a little loose. I tightened them and the leak stopped. (Do I need to do anything else's?). Next after 5 nights when we were leaving I was dumping the holding tanks, we have 4, I realized that the very first gray tank showed empty on the monitor and when I opened the valve nothing came out. I went under the storage compartment and checked if the cable was connected. It was and appeared to open when pulled. I dumped all tanks and then ran water into each sink, shower and toilet. The tank in question never showed any content. So I looked as well as I could and the tank appears to be hooked to nothing but the vent and the dump valve. Called the manufacturer and let them know and they are supposed to email me the detailed specs.
Now on to the rest.... All went well and everything else went exceptionally well. We had weather from the low 80's down to the low 30's with snow and sleet and then severe thunderstorms and high winds and all was perfect.
Long and short is we are very satisfied with our 2017 KZ Venom....

Congratulations. It's always good to hear that a maiden voyage went off without a hitch.

Is it possible that you only have 3 tanks? Often they use a four tank panel universally in campers and the last tank on the monitoring panel is a blank.

.... The 3 would be in addition to your fresh water. Our unit has 2 black, 1 gray, and the fresh. We have an extra tank button on the monitoring panel.

Holding tank

We have 4 separate holding tank dump handles and I have looked at them under the coach. It does appear that the forward most tank is hooked up and is able to dump. However it can only dump if I have the tank valve open in the tank in front of it at the same time. The gauge never seems to register anything. I will investigate more thoroughly in the coming weeks as we are not going out again for a month.
Thanks
Wick

Sounds like you have a good "handle" (pun intended) on things. FYI, as you are investigating further, our Toy Hauler's fresh tank has a separate pull valve underneath as well (giving us a 4th handle). Maybe someone with the same brand/model can chime in. Good luck.
