Forest River or Heartland Products?

After months of studying and looking at reviews my wife and I have dwindled the selection down to the Cyclone/Road Warrior or XLR. Yes we would like to some of the other higher end selections like Northwoods, New Horizons or DRV but they are out of our budget.

So it is down to Forest River or Heartland manufacturing and quality! Who makes the best product and who is more reliable?

We would appreciate your opinion.

Of those two, it seems to be XLR. I keeps seeing so many things about Heartland that turned me the other direction.

Same here. I just bought my XLR Nitro after looking at a Carbon (Keystone), Heartland, and the XLR.

The info I found shows Forest River to be better. Reviews, complaints and so on. I actually preferred the Carbons (377) layout, but my purchase was also about quality. So I chose a slightly less preferred layout.

Absolutely Forest River... I had a 2013 Road Warrior before my current XLR. While it was very reliable, their quality has gone down significantly since as seen by the increasing number of negative posts on all the forums including their own. Cyclone has been the number 1 selling unit in the industry and keeping up with demand has really tanked their fit and finish. They used to be the go to brand for build and after the sale support. Since Thor took over it's been a gradual but constant slide from what they once were. When I decided to upgrade, I looked elsewhere. XLR has more standards and options and has the best after the sale support I've ever seen or heard about. If you need to know anything specific, please feel free to PM me. We just went through the ordering and buying process and have lots of insight...

Have you checked out the New Weekend Warrior. I've been in contact with these guys and can say that they are a breath of fresh air in the RV industry.
I will be upgrading in the future and there 4250 will be at the top of my list.

Here's a link.
