Generator or Landing Gear box question

I need to replace the landing gear box on my toy hauler. That job is pretty simple. However, I have a front mounted generator that takes up all but the top inch or inch and a half of the front access door. There is a little room on the passenger side but the gear box is on the driver's side. I don't think that I can fit into the space to work on top of my generator. So the question is, is there a trick to replacing it through the small panel (about 5 inches by 5 inches) on the side where it is located? Or how do I remove the generator to gain access to that piece?

I'm answering my own post. After looking at the generator area with a little more focus on the whole situation as opposed to just that one spot, I realized that there is enough room on one side to get in and over the generator to replace the broken piece on the landing gear. I'm guessing most give an access on one side or the other.
