Most likely Gecko Road, Gecko Camprground, top of the upper loop. (I know...as usual )
I like that spot because I can find it with my eyes closed (or crossed) returning from Olds at 2AM.
Nothing fancy, just lots of riding and family fun.
Let's get er dun!

Dang...got plans the weekend before, and the weekend after. And after the last 3 straight weekends of total fun, as well as the next two weekends busy (one trip back to CT on Sunday and then T-Day) we're gonna have to icksnay on the glamissnay. I can't believe it's that time already!!
Sorry buddy...see 'ya at Dumont on New Years?!

Scared? SCARED?! I ain't a-scared...just whupped...next thing I know it'll be New Years, and I won't have touched MY buggy, and going to Dumont buggy-less- now THAT'S scary!
I can see that 2006 is gonna be a busy year. Wish ya a great time at Glamis, my friend- have one (hummm...make it a double) for me, OK?

Ya know, if you're not going to use that truck and trailer you could just sell the truck to me. I'm sure IT won't mind going to Glamis.

Were you at the brush fire Friday? We were on the 1st strike team in the School Road area off Ventura Ave. Fun for a couple hours, then alot of sitting around. Sent back home Fri nite.

Yeah...Medic Engine 6, Poli Structure Protection Group, single resource. We were up on Lupine Drive and then at the top of Buena Vista. I didn't get to go home for several days.
Got directly dropped on by the SB County bird's bucket, that was a first. Felt really good to get cooled off though, even if it WAS sea-water.

We got dropped on 3 times in the back yard of a home we were protecting. Once from SB's chopper and twice from the red sikorski flying around. The canyon lit up directly behind us and the choppers made a number of runs right at us. It was fun, but one of the drops broke a big branch off a tree and drove it into the roof of the house. Kind of scarry the power of the water falling. Also had a fixed wing hit the canyon that sprinkled us with foscheck.
Got a few good short videos and some good pictures though.

Dang my timing is terrible. With the kitchen done and T-day out of the way and in in-laws here we are going to ocotillo next weekend with the in-laws who have never done the desert riding camping thing before. Than my wife and kids have the week of Dec 19 (My Birthday) off so we will be spending that week Monday through Friday at glamis. Sorry I will miss this but if anybody has that week off that's where will be and would love to have company!!!
