Yo,,,
Looking at the Ford F350 or Dodge Mega...
Just a question about having to put a slider hitch in the Dodge vs not having to do it in the ford...
Any thoughts on the slider in the megacab dodge?

The mega cab does have the shortest bed out there. You'll surely need a slider.

The mega cab also has a relatively low GVWR...Your pin weight may be too much.

Wes your right about the pin weight, last check I'm putting 2200 pin weight when loaded, the mega is rated at 2510... Not much room for mis-management of weight and balance of the WW.

In case you have not found it, you will need to know about The Diesel Stop.

Great bunch of info on the Ford 6.0L.

Aviator, Congrats on the new tow rig. Now you won't have to worry about the pin weight, just load it up so it pulls good and go.

Are you getting a 06 or 07?
New motor or 6.0L?
You didn't come to the dark side, you saw the light.

Thanks everyone,,,
We are going to Roseville Ca to pick up the new ride on Saturday.. That is an 8hr ride each way. They are giving me 15.5K for the old dodge... I hope I'm not getting the old shaft but I'm sure I am. I just don't want to try and sell it on my own.. such a head ache.
