I see you obviously race rour Vette. I got into racing this summer and am looking for ways to haul the car. I am considering buying a new toyhauler, but I sure do like a seperate garage. Do you know of one or ever seen one with an 18ft garage that will haul a 3500 lb car? I have a 70 Chevelle SS454, running 11.6's right now, but want to go faster, you know the drill. What kind of times are you running in that Vette of yours?
Cheers

The only way I know of that you can do it is to use a featherlight trailer with living quarters or something like that. The toyhaulers now are so heavy that there isn't enough CCC left to haul a vehicle unless the WW LE version with no slideouts could do it.

The Vette ran in the 9.70's and 9.80's when I was running it. Still has the independent rear with the half shafts (has to for class), that's the limitation, how fast can you go without breaking something. Everytime I got around the regular drag people they couldn't believe it could run that fast without a solid rear end. Course, it isn't legal for most sanctioned tracks except for when I was running NCCC. They say you can't run that fast in NHRA with a swing axle.

Good luck in your search.
