(FatDog)
I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the manuals
Consultin' with the TSD or IRV2
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin' (bout ways to wash to wax it)
If I only had that new F350!

I'd unravel any riddle
For any individ'le
In trouble or in pain (or slipping tranny hey!)

(FD's New Truck))
With the thoughts you'd be thinkin'
You could be at the dealer "inking"
If you only had a brain

(FatDog)
Oh, I would tell you why
The ocean's near the shore
I could think of things I never thunk before
And then I'd sit and think some more (about my new F350, of course)

I would not be just a nuffin'
My head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain (aching for that new F350)
I would dance and be merry
Life would be a ding-a-derry
If I only had that new F350!

Alright,.. so one of the Oz's flying monkees has logged on here....

and although this "mystery" guest may be an elusive poster... and just maybeeee a bit 'goony' ..
...well i think the underlying point behind these 'sorts' of threads is very solid:

... I see a lot of entry level ToyHaulists pulling heavy rigs with small trucks. We have all seen the F150 with sparks flying off its rear bumper that is dragging on the ground pulling a loaded 'hauler.

So the 'elusive' new poster here is making a point for the correct sized truck, the dually, or a SRW, whatever, just get the right size truck !!

Good point it is.

ToyHaulers, like all other RV'rs, sometimes start out with a mismatch. We have all seen that the ToyHauler is getting heavier. Good !!!

So the Wizard of Oz's flying monkee here, is a good man (or woman ) and brings a valid point to the table.
All goony aside , this Witch's Flying Monkee is one smart

Cowardly Lion

LMAOROTF, That is very clever!!! Now I'll be thinking of the song all day also...

Good points there Mike, we all started with some combo, mostly mismatched, and have slowly but surely gotten bigger and matched up properly.

Hopefully with the rants of crazies like myself on proper sized TV's to RV's, we will have safer roads for the weekender's and the fulltimer's.

Clark

And after talking to you earlier Clark, you just weighed your new Truck and Alfa, and your GC came in at 23,000 (3000 pounds UNDER your truck's GC) and your loaded trailer came in at 15,100 (1000 pounds under its rating), although you didn't have full water.
You were one of the ToyHauler pioneers. And i am sure you have towed before maybe a little 'mismatched' as I have, and I probably am doing right now a bit as well.

But the input and experience you guys give, in your own special way is great stuff, and I am sure has influenced many of us.

Enough of that stuff,.....
....'someone' here, and Clark you were adament it wasn't you, although you had a sneakin' suspicion who it was , composed a real DANDY,
thank you Scarecrow !!

But has it influenced you? I'm thinking of 2-waying you to see if you're at Kearney Mesa!

I'm surprised your F350 hasn't said anymore today...you suppose it's gone to another home?

I had a chance to speak to it personally (no, really!), and it was very putout that you hadn't called on it earlier...poor thing. It threw me a pic that showed those sad eyes, and I had to whimper a tad to get through the moment. All it needs is a big 'ol FatDog home (yep...that's what it said!).

Boy...it's getting thick, ain't it?!

I was startin' to wonder about you! Thought for just a bit that you'd be the sensible one and say screw all of this- I'm gonna go un-iRV2 tonight and get some rest. Glad I was wrong!!

So you still got some eyes for her, ey? Two shopping days left! I really am surprised she hasn't clamed in here and said something...did you tickle her earlier today and give her sweet kisses? Scratched her back? Drained your flui....never mind.

SO! All's well that starts a weekend?!

Gonna go up and party with the HDH's...one of them is racing tomorrow night at the fairgrounds, and we'll just break all the rules and have a good time...hope to hear you got your mechanical sweetheart when I return!!

Sean

p.s. Your phone ain't workin'!
