It's in the Bag

After three years of deliberation I finally pulled the trigger and bought a 2012 Fuzion 322 Monster package unit.

Thank you to all who answered all my questions, naive as some were, but helped me make a more informed and intelligent choice.

Now I have to wait for two weeks before my schedule allows me time to go and collect it and bring it home. Photos then.

I'm sure the questions are now about to start!

It's in the Bag

Congratulations, we've had our 2011 Fuzion 322 Touring Edition for a little over 2 years. We've really enjoyed it and leaving Saturday for about three weeks, it'll be our longest trip so far. We've been very happy with our 322, pretty easy to get around the state parks in which is where we usually camp. Only thing I wish we had is the auto leveling which I think started in 2012 so I'm guessing you have it.

Off topic, but where are you based airline wise? I'm on the 737 out of Houston (IAH).

Yep, it has auto leveling which I'm told is as addictive as crack cocaine.

I'm based in MCO for WN.

I'd like a 35' or so TH, however my wife wants no part of anything sub 40'.

Next step is to make her drive it lol

If you really need to compromise between the two, check out the Cyclone 300C or the Road Warrior 30C. Sister units like GM and Chevy. Due to the stepped front end cap (a patent Heartland bought from Glendale Titanium when they were folding...), you get a 40 foot RV that has the same total length as a 35 footer due to the extra space that rides up over the truck.

I thought about it, really want to see one. No one around me has one though.

That's what we had before our XLR. Just sold it last fall. Very happy with it and super easy to tow. Like everything else, it is a compromise though. We would have never sold it but we outgrew the garage.

Well we on the way. We took delivery yesterday and drove to Hot Springs AR for our first night.

Couple of questions.

The fan on one of the ac units blows at "high" speed only. I'm guessing there is a diode somewhere that is shot that allows it to run at slow. Any ideas?

Does the sensor gauge cleaner work?

We need to replace the on/ off switch and element on the water heater. It seems pretty straight forward, correct?

Thanks
Tony

On the HW, yes, the element just threads out. You can get them much cheaper at Home Depot than if you go to an RV source. The take the old one with you so you can match wattage and length. The switch is just a low voltage rocker, so Depot or auto parts store on that one. Or... Amazon.com on all.

On the ac, they are all different. Some only have one speed. Not sure on yours...
