Jayco Octane 273 or Freedom Express 271 quick to buy?

Hello we are looking for a new toy hauler that we plan on towing some long distances. I have looked at alot of toy haulers and the two that seem to meet our needs the best are the jayco sl 273 octane and the freedom express 271bl. Any owners on here that could suggest one over the other. I found the jayco to be pretty basic in amenities and the coachmen to be much better equipped and fiberglass sidewall double the fresh water storage. Stove and oven etc.. Any help or insight to this would be greatly appreciated.

Jayco is a solid manufacturer with direct customer support and a 2-year warranty.

You can shop for bells and whistles - nothing wrong with that, but much of the end systems are supplied by the same manufacturers.

Water is weight - look at carrying capacity.

I don't know freedom express as well as Jayco - so they could be just fine.

I'd buy another Jayco. Just havent owned a freedom express.

Agreed, I have looked at the freedom express's. I would go Jayco.

Thanks guys for your insight. This has been a tough decision for me. I am Definately going with the jayco octane 273 sl. The coachman sure has a lot of nice features on it and I really liked the fiberglass wall idea. But I wasn't convinced that the structure was even close to the same quality as the jayco. Jayco with there wood frame and metal sides looked to me to be there tried and true construction vs a budget built fiberglass wall and such. Hopefully I've made the right decision and thanks again for your help.
