I have a 2002 wanderer 33' toyhauler. I'm contemplating putting my 98 jeep grand cherokee in the back. Does anyone here put any heavy vehicles in the rear of their wander or tahoe? (same trailer) Assuming I am ok with the trailers gvw and the tires max load how about the rest? Will the door support it? Will the floor hold the weight in only 4 spots. The jeep weighs approx. 4100# which should be fine. The truck shouldn't have a problem (class 8 International 9400). Do you guys use additional tie down points? or do the stock ones work?

Lou

Welcome to the toyhauler forum. I can't really help you with the particulars of your trailer. I have a WW that I carry my Wrangler TJ in but it is set up for this with a 3500 lb door rating, 5k tiedowns in all 4 corners bolted to the frame and a winch to pull it in and let it out along with a reinforced floor. Also in the WW they put the main frame rails under where the tires normally sit for added ability.

I have heard of someone carrying a car, vette I believe, in a 33ft Tahoe so it is a possibility. Maybe someone will come along with more info for your trailer.

Again welcome.
