a lot of people put their Jeeps in the back of Toyhaulers. (i presume you aren't talking about putting it in front of one.)

my jeep was 6' tall and wide, and a dozen feet long, this fits the cargo bays of the more stout built 'haulers,...

the jeep weighed a couple tons and
only one set of the jeeps tires would be on the 3000 pound rated ramp at a time,
and 'hauler payloads can run a few tons,..

and you should see some of the sand buggies people carry in their 'haulers.

how far you towing?

Hello,

Yes I want to put the Jeep in the back of the hauler.

We like to go to Pismo Beach. About 200 miles one way.

We just have no idea about the Toyhaulers. 5er or ?

Our Jeep has 31 MT's and is lifted 2". It is just a taste over 6" at the highest point on the roll bar.

5'r, or TT, or MH towing a utility trailer

i could tell you without a doubt which one is better, except at Pismo this weekend you will see 300 of each one of those, on in-season weekends at Glamis you will see 600 of each one

if you have a MH already that isn't close to being capped at weight, you might already have a trailer-tower

Vette-Racer (a ToyHauler here) hauls his Jeep, and as you could guess, his Vette
he has a winch in a forward kitchen cabinet that pulls the vehicle in.
He takes an aweful lot of vacations, but will be back in a day or two i think, and would show you his setup.
Years ago you could have the floor reinforced when you were 'hauling heavy, a lot of them have heavier flooring now and would haul a Jeep with no other consideration

I've had to research this quite a while before ordering our WW SLC3905, and I've been told quite a few times that the WW's are the only TH you can carry a Jeep in- we bought one prior to ordering the WW and the whole point was being able to carry it. You can't have a cargo slide because of the internal clearance issue, and you have to go to the 16" tires to take advantage of the 6,000lb axles, but WW is the only to properly gusset the cargo flooring and provide a 3,000lb ramp. My GiantRV saleguy is a big Jeeper and finally got his LE3905, and the height clearance you get is 78", which should be plenty unless you've got it lifted to the heavens. WW also has the option of the drive-on wheel wells in case you went wide with your Jeep, but as you say, 31's and a 2-inch lift is easy.

31x10.5 with 2" lift, hardtop and just clears the standard bed which was before the higher raised bed they have now in the WW. Can't speak for the other brands but the WW 3705 will carry it just fine with about 3 ft to spare on the inside. I don't think I'd want it much shorter than a 3505 in a 5th wheel. It will be heavy though and requires a big truck!

You didn't mention...Are there any other toys you're gonna throw in there? Plan for it now if you're even dreaming about it!

A note about 'published' cargo room...usually it's from the back door to the steps to the front bedroom on a 5r...for example, the LE3105 has 16 feet of cargo, but to Tom's point, a good 5 feet of it is kitchen. Even the LE3305 is 18 feet, so I think you get the point.

I'm not quite sure about the Tahoe...my friend has as 33ft, and it's plenty of room for his sandcar (about 1100#), but not quite sure about a Jeep. Weight is an issue, and I'm not sure what the other mfrs claims are- just beware.

We are going to do the research. One problem is that we have no place to store a TT or 5er. They other is this is the worst time to buy. 06 getting ready or already to come out and its summer...lol
