King Salami and Sandy pick up their new LE3305
next week and we're giving serious consideration
to go the the Kaibab National Forest in Arizona
for their maiden voyage. We haven't nailed down
a departure date yet.

It's just about 750 miles from Santa Cruz, so
we'll make it a two day trip to get there.
We'll be going via I-15 thru Las Vegas.

I have convinced the King to bring his monkey
on this trip.

Here are some photos of Kaibab...

...and I'm not quite sure we'll see your 4' iguana either- this is a family site!

Boy Howie...would love to make that one, but Moski's gonna be out of commission here for a tad after her surgery tomorrow...we'll see how it goes. Otherwise, it would be: 'head for the hills buddy'!!!

Yeah Sandy...I think we're on the same wavelength...there's a point at which too much is too much, and I think we've reached that plateau!!! (But you gotta admit, what a mind-blower!!!!).

Tom...now are you done with the Handi-Wipes?! (Give 'em to me!).

Would love to go back to the north rim, but I'll either be sitting in Malibu or I'll be driving somewhere between Missoula and Omaha/Lincoln, Nebraska moving the daughter.

Depends which week you go.

Please keep putting the trips on the boards so we can see when we can vacation.

Now, if we could get a picture of King's monkey riding Fatdogs 4' Iguana, Now THAT would be a picture!!!

Clark

Okay, I'm not going to touch that monkey/iguana thing with a 10-ft pole!

Regarding our LE3305 pick up/Kaibab trip, Howie gets up every morning, calls me on the phone and excitedly says, "Is it time to go yet?" I have to talk him down every time he calls!

Anyway, I just called WW and they said our LE should be off line on Thursday 7/21 and on to the dealer the next day. Let's pray that is so and that they don't have a delay and we get an LE that was "finished off" on Friday afternoon!

Departure date for Kaibab of first week of August is in pencil on our calendar at the moment. Retired Guy Howie can pick up and leave at any time, but us poor slobs who still work for a living have to dance around project schedules. But I know we'll be wanting to take off as soon as we get that baby home and we load her up! We'll keep everyone posted as to our progress.

Place looks beautiful...
Is it a kid friendly place Howie? Meaning.. Is it a place that you can have kiddies ride along with you not only on the trails but in and around camp too or is it more like "trails only"...
We have litle ones (6, 4, 2)...
Otherwise it looks like a little slice of heaven.
