They may look bad but those 15" Generals do a heck of a job. If I could buy them again I would and not worry, but, since they're not available anymore, I'm concerned. With the Jeep I'm only sitting at 12,500 on the axles with a 15,250 tire capacity but it would be nice to get some more room. Now, if we could just find a dependable 15" tire in an E! I guess the good news is that it only has 8300 lbs on the axles without the Jeep.

Tom,

My coach had Transmaster tires by Greenball on it from the factory. When I removed the spare to replace it with the new 16's, it was a General Ameri Trailer ST. Maybe they're using up the old stock as spares. Did anyone else get a mismatched spare from the factory?

Wes

I'm not gonna touch this thread with a ten foot pole..... OK, slow down foot off go pedal BUT get off the highway.... You can repair the coach, don't put your life in danger by stopping on the highway.

Wes, I'm glad you went with the 16's on your rig, they are SO MUCH safer than they originals and they look cool also. I would love to see they rest of you do what Wes did, but it does cost. My rig weights 15,200 and change, could you imagine it being on 15's

Tommy, I know you have 15's and have had good luck with them, I just personally believe that any rig over 30' should ride on 16's minimum...

Wes, you said on a PM that the other rigs like yours are getting a fix from WW? Is that the 15E tires? And are they putting 15E's on ALL their trailers now, or just the squeeky wheels?

Come on Mark, be a leader in the industry and start putting the right size tires on your trailers.... (Gotta stop before I blow a gasket)

Gee thanks guys for getting me going....

Clark
