Tom:

Don't let him fool ya...he'll be fully loaded alright...I bet a dollar to doughnuts his Hops & Barley mix will outweigh a full freshwater tank, PLUS the full grey and black ones!

But that's why we like him!!!

And JA...got it!

If I go to the scale I'll know how far overweigted I am. I prefer the "I didn't know officer" method of weight distribution.

KZ Fan
you are probably running just about right weight wise, aren't you? with that rig of yours. It seems like a good match.
How do you like that KZ ?

and Geof,
what kind of trailer are you pulling behind your Volvo ? Did you get that used (they run forever) or buy it as a new tow vehicle?
One of these days it would be interesting to get a tractor and build the perfect TV.

Mike,

Yeah I actually don't worry about the weight too much. Unless I really overload (which has been known to happen carrying a cord of wood to the desert) I have close to 1000lbs to spare on the truck.

Love the KZ! The 33P has the perfect amount of cargo and comfortable living space for me and the wife. It's a little longer than we really wanted but I'm learning to deal with it. Going to be cramming it into Carpenteria SB tonight.

And i know what you mean about the "little long".
We had a FB2200 for a couple years and just loved it. it was perfect for our offroading and we don't have a sandrail to haul around anyway. But i eventually wanted a slide, and the LE33 is the smallest LE that WW will 'slide'. I got to admit though, the room is nice. But i no longe feel like i'm traveling the John Muir trail with a backpack anymore, now i'm the spaceship Columbia.

have a great time at carpenteria !!

Ok,
I've been to the scales twice...
1st time I was empty...
5'er was 11200 and my hitch was OK.
2nd Time I was loaded...
Full load 20300.(truck and rig)
Just a touch over.
